My role on this game as a QA tester required me to rigorously go out my way to break it, get from A to B as quick as possible (smoke test) and fill out bug reports using JIRA.
Other tasks included language testing such as making sure the subtitles looked correct. Also using a spreadsheet to track progress to hand to the QA lead.
LEGO Lord of the Rings was my main project whilst working at the studio. My duties are basically similar to the ones mentioned above with the exception of comminicating with a programmer assigned on this project.
If the programmer could not reproduce a bug that was reported, then I would be called up to try and reproduce it on the debugging system.
Other tasks included unlock achievements testing, and a very small amount of microtransaction value suggestions.
Tetra Ski (2015)
Tetra Ski is a game that I worked on between January 2015 - May 2015 as part of a small team of six at the university hospital in the state of Utah as a 3D artist.

The game was made in collaboration with a doctor and a mechanical engineer who developed a real skiing chair for paraplegic patients.
​
Patients can control the chair by breathing into or sipping from a straw and the game we created is a simulation of the chairs physics and control system to help people become customed to the chairs' contols
The game's environment was created by using a heightmap generator in Unity which allowed the team to create levels based on already existing ski resort terrains and courses.

The level design from the game was developed in a way that would help players understand the controls more intuitively, with props placed in strategic locations for a much easier learning curve.
